Tribe Series

Perception welcomes the colorful Tribe series to its recreational line of kayaks. For family fun on the water, the Tribe is a great fit for discerning, price-conscious beginners who love the active lifestyle, as well as seasoned paddlers living in the moment but thinking about what adventures next week will bring.

Performing as adeptly playing in the surf and rough ocean as it does in flat water and lazy rivers, the Tribe is the everyman’s kayak for almost anywhere. Plus, a skid plate helps to prolong hull life for those that have a bit too much fun. The Tribe is durable, manageable and space-savingly stackable. Molded foot braces and molded side handles (on most models) mean less moving parts to wear out. With two additional bow and stern handles, carrying and car topping is a breeze.

The Tribe is simply low-maintenance, but don’t mistake its simplicity for slow and bulky. It offers speed, control and comfort. Ergonomic design puts the paddler’s feet level with the body rather than at an awkward angle. Other features include self-bailing scupper tubes, as well as bow and stern storage tankwells with bungees to safely secure gear such as backpacks, small picnic baskets and coolers.

Available in 3 sizes – Tribe 9.5, The Tribe 11.5, and the Tribe 13.5 Tandem.
